Commissioners meeting
Hunting and trapping season approved (see website and digest for allocations)
Doe License allocations, WMU 1A - 52,000, WMU 2A = 50,000, WMU 2B = 60,000
Statewide archery bear season moved to the next-to-the-last week of archery deer season
Eliminated post-Christmas Rough grouse
Semi auto approved for Small game and Fur bearer, (regulations for mag restriction yet)
Air rifle approved for small game .22 cal  (no FPS restrictions yet)
$25 Pheasant permit Jr. hunters will not be effected by the permit (ear marked for pheasant program)
Fish
Reminder - November 1 through April 30 boaters on any canoe or kayak or boats less than 16 feet in length are required to wear a life jacket. This applies while the boat is underway or at anchor.
A kayak capsized in Crawford County and the boater, who wasn’t wearing a life jacket, died.
Fishing derby
April 29th 6:30 registration. Stocking the 27th at noon.
Camp
18-24th camp
May 21st 7pm parents meeting at bucktails.

Approved $655 for as new projector and screens.
Rally
Motion was made for the league to buy that hats for the Rally
Herford Manor lake
We got the contract to put a sign on the Dam (signs by Sam is doing it)

Dick Bayer - If Pennsylvania changes to the NICS (National Instant Check System) for purchasing firearms, we won’t be able to use our PA drivers license for identification since it won’t comply with “The Real ID Act of 2005

Febuary Update

 Good Morning everyone!  As most of you know last week was the monthly meeting however we did not have a regular membership meeting. The officers got together and conducted the meeting due to COVID. Here is what has been going on at the club. KBBSA bought 41 acres. The cemetery was given to KBBSA by the Orthodox Diocese. A plot plan was sent to us.  KBBSA are on the list to have a contractor build our building for our range filters.  KBBSA joined the PFSC KBBSA will not be having spring turkey shoots and hopes that we will be having them in he fall.  There was a change in directors due to a passing.   Even though our website and Facebook has been quite please make sure to check those along with your email for any updates on meetings.  I have been flooded with new membership emails, with in those emails I am almost 100% certain I have missed a non new member email. I am asking everyone to please be patient while I sort threw all of these emails...
 Meeting Highlights for June 2024 Officers Report: Election of officers: Please turn in all nominations by July’s meeting. Old Business: Gate The gate was repaired, however went down during the recent storms. The gate is currently standing open. Out Door Range Ply-wood will be replaced on the outdoor range. There will be a discussion on whether or not a pistol range can be placed on the outdoor range; price will be brought to the next meeting. New Members: Bob Winters Daniel Wehar Michael Kampmeyer It is also reminded that renewal forms will be sent out with in the next month or two. Please make sure to email if your address has changed since last renewal or if you have not received a renewal form in the past. Thank you JJT
