Application and Renewal Information

New Members: 
  • New members will be taken off the waiting list in the order they are received once openings are available.
  • New Members will only be accepted October, November and January.
  • In order to become a new member you will have contact KBBSA’s secretary at kbbsa1@gmail.com , 724-333-8007 or come to a monthly meeting. 
  • Each new member is required to have a sponsor.  
  • All persons applying for new membership are required to sign the club’s Range Rules
  • You will be required to set up a meeting during the officers meeting in October, November or January.  You will be required to bring your application and money. At that time you will introduce yourself and explain who your sponsor is. At the regular monthly meeting you will be voted on and receive your key. You have to be present at both meetings and your sponsor has to be present at the monthly meeting.
Sponsors:
·         Sponsors have to be a member for a year before they are able to sponsor anyone to join. 
·          If you do not have a sponsor we ask that you contact an officer in order to proceed.  
 
Membership fees: First year dues are $35.00 plus a $10.00 initiation fee. Renewal fees are $35.00.

Renewal Information
  • Renewals:
    ·        A one month grace period (4th Thursday of October) will be allowed. After The 4th Thursday of October all unpaid memberships expire and you will have to be placed on the waiting list to regain membership.
    ·        If Range Rules are not signed your key will be shut off at the end of October. You will have to become a new member in order to rejoin. You will NOT be notified if this happens; it is your responsibility to make sure the range rules are signed. 
    ·        As normal keys will be shut off the last day of September if you are not paid, however you can still pay your renewals up until the last day of October.

Taxes went up.     Liability Insurance: A motion was made to pay the insurance.     A member offered to paint the outside of the club house, will come back next month to discuss this.                    

Febuary Update

 Good Morning everyone!  As most of you know last week was the monthly meeting however we did not have a regular membership meeting. The officers got together and conducted the meeting due to COVID. Here is what has been going on at the club. KBBSA bought 41 acres. The cemetery was given to KBBSA by the Orthodox Diocese. A plot plan was sent to us.  KBBSA are on the list to have a contractor build our building for our range filters.  KBBSA joined the PFSC KBBSA will not be having spring turkey shoots and hopes that we will be having them in he fall.  There was a change in directors due to a passing.   Even though our website and Facebook has been quite please make sure to check those along with your email for any updates on meetings.  I have been flooded with new membership emails, with in those emails I am almost 100% certain I have missed a non new member email. I am asking everyone to please be patient while I sort threw all of these emails...
 Meeting Highlights for June 2024 Officers Report: Election of officers: Please turn in all nominations by July’s meeting. Old Business: Gate The gate was repaired, however went down during the recent storms. The gate is currently standing open. Out Door Range Ply-wood will be replaced on the outdoor range. There will be a discussion on whether or not a pistol range can be placed on the outdoor range; price will be brought to the next meeting. New Members: Bob Winters Daniel Wehar Michael Kampmeyer It is also reminded that renewal forms will be sent out with in the next month or two. Please make sure to email if your address has changed since last renewal or if you have not received a renewal form in the past. Thank you JJT
