Nominating Committee

Nominating Committee This year unlike past years the club had a nominating committee for election of officers. How it works : It is YOUR job to contact one of the committee members and tell them your nominating candidate. August Meeting

Big Knob Fair We are in profit territory for the tickets! If anyone would like to help at the fair please contact Rex Walter The fair runs August 28-September 1 Koppel Centennial Rex Walter and Larry Tooch sold tickets; all went well. Our $100 free to place an ad in the program was reimbursed due to our ad not being placed in the program. Bill Bacic made a motion to donate the reimbursed money to the Koppel fire department seconded by Ed Bennethem. Passed Practical for shooting women A really good turn out his month. 14 participants, three of which were newcomers Next practice September 15 th 12pm-2pm Chippewa Church Would like to use our outdoor range for practice for their security team. NRA Range Safety Officer

Anyone interested in becoming a certified NRA Range Safety Officer, we will be offering the course at KBBSA. Saturday, Sept. 8, from 8am - 5pm. Cost is $20 per person to cover student books.  BYOL (Bring your own lunch) There is a frig and microwave. This course does not involve any shooting. July Meeting Highlights

A motion was made by Richard Strealy seconded by Larry Tooch to agree to the unanimous written consent of the soul and managing member in lieu of organization meeting. June 2012 Meeting Highlights

Practical shooting for women July 14 11-3 there will be another practical shooting for women at the pavilion Big Knob Fair We will have the same spot as last year Tickets are bought and ready to be sold for the gun. Tickets are $2.00 a piece or 3 for $5 The gun is a Ruger 10 22, Classic V If anyone is interested in helping with the fair please see Rex Walter Koppel Centennial There was dissection about putting a table in at the centennial. Rex Walters will handle contacting the Koppel centennial about all the information concerning the table. The flyer for their book will be emailed shortly     An email was read concerning Marcellus shell and a free presentation by PennFuture. Questions from the membership

Hello everyone, Today I would like to go over a few questions I have received from the membership over the past few weeks.  1.       I did not receive a full year out of my membership; I joined half way through the year. Do I have to pay for renewals in September? Unfortunately you will have to pay for your renewals just like everyone else in September. To help avoid this we do try to remind people that membership renewals are in September. However, we are human and do forget….. 2.       The calendar on clubs website is not working; I cannot view it. I have taken care of this issue and I have checked this page on our website. It seems to be working for me. However, please email me if you are not able to view the calendar still. I might have to change to a different format. \ 3.       Lifetime or honorary membership; how do I handle renewals. Once you are an honorary member you still have to send back in your renewal form. However, just as previous years you still do
