August Meeting Highlights

  • There was a problem on our outdoor range.
  • The officers also discussed the by-law changes: It was anonymous amongst them to recommend not to have any by-law changes.
  • Scholarship: we had two applicant, the officers are recommending giving out both scholarships and next year to relook at the scholarship process.
  • A correspondences was sent threw an email, It needs to be brought to the attention that what is placed on the website are highlights not official minutes.
  • The range back stops are now rebuilt.

  • Cell Tower
    • A zoning meeting is scheduled for September 6.
  • By-Law Changes
    • Please see attached paper for what the by-law is currently and the purposed changed.
    • Ev Grower made a motion to make the purposed change and seconded by Anthony Belczyk: Discussion
    • All in favor: 1, All opposed: 16, Motion fails.
  • Hats and Shirts
    • They are still for sale. Please see Shawn Cox or come to a meeting if interested
  • Self-Protection for Woman
    • August had no one
    • Next class September 18 2-4
  • .22 Bulls eye
    • Starting September 7 at 6:30pm
  • Turkey Shoot
    • A motion made by Dick Logan to have the Turkey Shoot starting September 14 at 7pm seconded by Sherri Sapp: Passed


County League
·         Beaver Valley Archers Field days’ sept. 3rd and 4th
·         Youth Pheasant Hunt at Raccoon State Park Oct 8th at 7am register at Game Commission website after Labor Day.
·         Goose Hunt at Brady’s run, Youth Oct 29th and Nov 5th, Adult hunts Oct. 31, Nov 4,7,10,14,18
·         Field day 96 kids registered 76 attended. All stations went well, no mishaps or injuries, (photos on county leagues website)

Febuary Update

 Good Morning everyone!  As most of you know last week was the monthly meeting however we did not have a regular membership meeting. The officers got together and conducted the meeting due to COVID. Here is what has been going on at the club. KBBSA bought 41 acres. The cemetery was given to KBBSA by the Orthodox Diocese. A plot plan was sent to us.  KBBSA are on the list to have a contractor build our building for our range filters.  KBBSA joined the PFSC KBBSA will not be having spring turkey shoots and hopes that we will be having them in he fall.  There was a change in directors due to a passing.   Even though our website and Facebook has been quite please make sure to check those along with your email for any updates on meetings.  I have been flooded with new membership emails, with in those emails I am almost 100% certain I have missed a non new member email. I am asking everyone to please be patient while I sort threw all of these emails...
 Meeting Highlights for June 2024 Officers Report: Election of officers: Please turn in all nominations by July’s meeting. Old Business: Gate The gate was repaired, however went down during the recent storms. The gate is currently standing open. Out Door Range Ply-wood will be replaced on the outdoor range. There will be a discussion on whether or not a pistol range can be placed on the outdoor range; price will be brought to the next meeting. New Members: Bob Winters Daniel Wehar Michael Kampmeyer It is also reminded that renewal forms will be sent out with in the next month or two. Please make sure to email if your address has changed since last renewal or if you have not received a renewal form in the past. Thank you JJT
