Its that time of year again! You should have gotten your renewal form in the mail by now. Please make sure to send it in to the address listed! I also wanted to remind everyone that the last day we accept dues will be on September 30, 2014. If you did not receive it in the mail please feel free to print the renewal form, in which you will find in the left hand corner, and send the form in. Hello Everyone,  As most of you have noticed there has been a new back stop placed in the indoor range. Also there has been a few backstops replaced on the outdoor range. There are a few items you will need to know about these back stops.  Indoor Range Remember where the string is on the back stop is where the targets should be hung.   Outdoor Rage These back stops cannot be used for shotguns or shotgun slugs.  Thank you!   JJT  Secretary   

2014 dates: March 29 , April 26 , May 17 , June 21 , July 19 , August 16 , September 20 outdoor range - next to clubhouse Rifle Practice - starting at 2 pm .  .22 caliber only Pistol Practice - starting at 3 pm .  All calibers, no magnum loads. Practices are free and open to the public.  Targets are provided and a range officer will conduct the session. Participants must have knowledge of basic gun safety and know how to operate their firearm. These practices are geared for the novice shooter.  Newcomers are always welcome. Pistol Practice is focused on self defense in the home. Drills stress the balance between speed and accuracy.  A variety of targets are used. Please bring: gun, owner's manual if you have it,  50 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection, and an old towel to put your equipment on. Questions: Please contact Ev Gower, 724-494-6533

Hello, Please check the calender for updated information! Ladies Pistol Practice will come to an end this September and restart in April. Here are the next three months worth of dates:  noon - 2pm on outdoor range July 27 , Aug. 24 , Sept. 21 I urge you all to keep an eye on the calender!  

Reminders: Club meeting Thursday May 23 at 7:00pm Next Saturday, May 25 .  Noon to 2pm ladies.  2pm - 4pm Guys & Gals.   I realize this is a holiday weekend so it may not be good for some.  If that's you, hope to see you at our June practice.  I'll let you know when we have a date confirmed for June.   Next Saturday's practice will require 50 rounds.  A small segment of our practice will be from kneeling.  Bring a pad if you'd like.  This segment can also be done sitting.  We will be using a human silhouette target commonly used for law enforcement qualification.   Call if you have any questions.  Ev 724-494-6533   "Tomorrow's victory is today's practice."  Chris Bradford, The Way of the Warrior
